Relocation of Harris, Hill & Gibbons Warminster Branch Opening Monday 4th July 2022

29th June 2022

dog-newsOver the last few months the builders have been hard at work completing the fit out of our new veterinary surgery  – Units 14/16, The Three Horseshoes Shopping Centre, Horseshoes Walk, Warminster, BA12 9BT – just 0.7 miles from our current site.

Sadly, whilst we will be permanently closing our doors for the very last time at Silver Street on Friday 1st July, we are delighted to confirm that we will be open for business at the new site on Monday 4th July.

Our phone Number

Good news!  Our phone number is moving with us so you will still be able to contact us on 01985 213522.

Out of Hours Emergencies

This change will not affect our out of hours arrangements, which will continue to be seen at MiNightvet Trowbridge.

A reminder of what’s new!

Our new site is a little larger enabling us to offer you and your pets a range of services and facilities in a modern environment whilst maintaining a warm and friendly feel.   Being in a central location, the site has ample parking with the shopping centre’s own car park and a Council operated car park both within easy walking distance.  It is, of course, under cover and has disabled access.

The new site will have:

  • two additional consultation rooms
  • operating theatre
  • in-house lab, imaging, x-rays and dental facilities
  • contemporary reception and waiting area
  • We will be able to offer greater flexibility with appointment times, including a range of nurse clinics with our experienced nursing team.

Our opening times will remain the same: Monday – Friday 08.45 – 18.00

We are passionate about giving you the best customer service and clinical care for your pets and this move will enable us to do both.

To book an appointment, order repeat medications, food or general advice, please call us on 01985 213522

We are spreading the good news to all clients via email, post, social media and our website.

Veterinary Nurse Awareness Month May 2022

29th April 2022

RVN-with-catIn May 2005 the first ever Veterinary Nurse Awareness event was launched. Its aim was simple: to raise awareness of the work veterinary nurses do.

Seventeen years later and the veterinary nursing profession continues this yearly celebration in recognition of the skills and value registered veterinary nurses bring to animal health and welfare. During May, Veterinary Nurse Awareness Month (VNAM) provides a focussed opportunity to reflect on how veterinary nurses shape the high levels of clinical care practices provide and the many different roles and responsibilities they have.

Registered Veterinary Nurses and the wider nursing team of Patient Care Assistants are a fundamental part of the clinical team, taking a leading role in preventative health care, care of hospitalised patients and running of diagnostic tests. Depending on the procedure, registered veterinary nurses also support with or undertake surgical procedures and provide care during anaesthesia and in the recovery period too.

Exciting News from our Warminster Surgery!

7th April 2022

HHG Warminster 260 x 360px web bannerHaving outgrown our existing site in Silver Street, we decided it was time to look for a more suitable site so that we can offer the level of service we want to.

We are therefore delighted to confirm that we have found a site and development work has started on our new veterinary surgery in The Three Horseshoes Shopping Centre in the heart of Warminster – just 0.7 miles from our current site.

If all goes to plan, we will be relocating to the new site in early Summer 2022 and we can’t wait!

Our new site is a little larger enabling us to offer our clients and their pets a range of services and facilities in a modern environment whilst maintaining a warm and friendly feel.  Being in a central location the site has ample parking with the shopping centre’s own car park and a Council operated car park.  It will, of course, be under cover and have disabled access.

The new site will have:

  • two additional consultation rooms
  • operating theatre
  • in-house lab, imaging, x-rays and dental facilities
  • contemporary reception and waiting area

This means that we will be able to offer greater flexibility with appointment times, including a range of nurse clinics with our experienced nursing team.

We are passionate about giving our clients the best customer service and clinical care for their pets and this move will enable us to do both.

Keep an eye on our Facebook page and here on the website for the latest updates.  We will announce details of the move, once we have a final completion date.

In the meantime, our services and opening hours are as normal at our current surgery in Silver Street.  To book an appointment, call us on 01985 213552.
